Pending Dispute Seeks 7-Figure Damages

On August 30, 2023, an investor filed a dispute involving Mr. Jean-Bart. The dispute alleges that he and other defendants caused the claimants “to participate in a purported investment club run by a third party unaffiliated” with his member firm. The dispute, which remains pending, seeks $1.4 million in damages.

Allegations Against PFS Investments

Mr. Jean-Bart’s member firm, Primerica Financial Services, has been involved in two investor disputes that evolved into FINRA arbitration proceedings, according to its BrokerCheck profile. One such dispute, filed in 2009, alleged that the firm misrepresented material facts and breached its fiduciary duty. It resolved with an award to the customer of $477,867.12. A second claim, filed in 2004, alleged breach of fiduciary duty and supervisory failures, resolving with an award of $200,625.
