Pending Disputes Seek More Than $3 Million

Multiple parties of investors lodged disputes involving Mr. Richeson in 2024. These disputes include allegations that he violated federal securities laws, breached his fiduciary duty, engaged in unjust enrichment and fraudulent concealment, and misrepresented investments. The disputes, which remain pending, seek more than $3.1 million in cumulative damages.

Past Disputes Alleged Suitability Violations

Between 2023 and 2024, three other parties of investors filed disputes that resolved with settlement payments. These disputes include allegations of unsuitable investment recommendations, improper sales practice, and due diligence failures. His member firm settled the claims for more than $49,000.

Florida Sanctioned Hagin Richeson in 2022

In 2022, the Florida Office of Financial Regulation initiated a disciplinary proceeding against Mr. Richeson. The regulator alleged that he engaged in investment advisory business in the state “without lawful registration.” Without admitting to or denying the allegations against him, he agreed to cease and desist from further violations and to pay a fine of $4,000.

Hagin Richeson launched his career as a broker in 2007, when he registered with Ameriprise Financial Services’ branch office in Tampa, Florida. He remained at the firm until 2015. One year later, in 2016, he joined Corinthian Partners’ office in Clearwater, Florida, where he remains today. With 15 years of experience as a broker under his belt, he has completed three industry exams, including the Series 66 and the Series 7.
