Stiefel’s Chuck Roberts Involved in $1 Million Complaint

Complaint Involves a Hedge Fund Investment

On October 24, 2022, an investor filed a complaint involving Chuck Roberts and Stiefel Nicolaus.  The complaint alleges negligence, breach of FINRA rules and breach of fiduciary duty.  The investor is seeking $1 million and the investment involves a hedge fund that was purchase outside of Stifel.

Chuck Roberts 2010 Customer Award  

Chuck Roberts has been associated with Stiefel Nicholas in New York since 2016.  Prior to that, he was associated with Morgan Stanley.  In 2010, while registered with Morgan Stanley, a customer was awarded $202,228 in damages following an arbitration hearing before FINRA. The arbitration concerned unsuitable and unauthorized trades made in the customer’s account.
