Anida Venniro Allegedly Made Improper Private Transactions

Ameriprise Discloses Resignation

On June 19, 2024, Ms. Venniro resigned from her position at Ameriprise Financial Services, according to her BrokerCheck profile. As a disclosure by the firm explains, she was “permitted to resign” from her position. Her resignation followed allegations that she provided the firm and FINRA with “inaccurate information… related to Outside Business Activities.”

FINRA Launches Investigation

On April 24, 2024, FINRA made a determination to recommend disciplinary action against Ms. Venniro. According to a disclosure on her BrokerCheck profile, the action would allege violations of FINRA Rules 3280 and 2020. More specifically, it would allege that she “participated in a private securities transaction without notifying or receiving the approval of her member firm.” It would also allege that she conducted outside business activities without firm approval, and that she failed to timely disclose a felony charge. FINRA’s investigation into her conduct is still ongoing.

2021 Dispute Settled for $97,500

In 2021, an investor filed a dispute alleging that Ms. Venniro made misrepresentations and omissions relating to an investment in a private real estate development. The following year, her former member firm paid $97,500 to settle the allegations.

What Is Infinity Wealth Management?

According to her BrokerCheck profile, Ms. Venniro operates under the brand Infinity Wealth Management. As that firm’s website[2] notes, it offers services through International Assets Investment Management. In a section describing the firm’s mission[3], she explains her goal to help clients achieve financial independence. “We want to spend time with clients to determine their goals and objectives, time horizon, risk tolerance, and help them make suitable financial decisions for their future,” she writes in the section. “Our mission is to build a long-term relationship with me, their trusted and knowledgeable advisor. We aim to accomplish this through education, training, integrity, and outstanding client service.”

Anida Venniro launched her career as a broker in 2006. That year, she joined MetLife Securities’ office in Troy, Michigan, where she remained until 2009. Over the subsequent years, she worked at firms including Sigma Financial Corporation, AXA Advisors, and LPL Financial. She worked with Ameriprise Financial Services in Farmington Hills, Michigan from 2021 until her resignation in 2024. Currently registered as an investment adviser, she has worked with International Assets Investment Management’s office in Farmington Hills since June 2024.
